step 2: Cleaning: ❏ Team Assignment:

❏ Form teams of 4-6 individuals for each vehicle, with each member assigned specific tasks during the event. Individuals may perform multiple roles.

❏ Assigned Roles:

❏ Define key roles for team members:

❏ Technician: Responsible for stocking the vehicle. ❏ Picture Taker. ❏ Scavenger Hunter (preferably not maintenance-savvy). ❏ Timekeeper. ❏ Cleaners. ❏ Water Striders: Individuals responsible for bringing out and organizing parts from the vehicle.

❏ 6s Score and Scavenger Hunt:

❏ Conduct a 6s Score and Scavenger Hunt: ❏ Scavenger Hunt: Locate 5 items ideally found in the vehicle (e.g., flapper, door stop, thermostat, CO/smoke detector, capacitor). Identify a timekeeper. ❏ Complete a 6s Score using the provided sheet before cleaning out the vehicle, establishing a baseline score.

❏ Vehicle Cleanup: Following the 6s Score and Scavenger Hunt, initiate the cleaning phase: ❏ Remove all items from the vehicle, including parts, tools, debris, and personal items. ❏ Eliminate unused items such as racks or tank stands. ❏ Sweep, mop, scrub, and wipe down the cargo area, including shelving, doors, and cup holders. ❏ Clean, mop, scrub, and wipe down the interior cab. Remove unrelated work items. ❏ Extend cleaning to the vehicle’s exterior.
